Memorial Weekend
I had a busy Memorial weekend.
I am not picking my nose. I like to chew on my nails now that I don't have a bed to chew on.
See my pink purse? Anytime it looks like we are about to go somewhere I grab my purse, put my phone in it, and sometimes my sippie cup in my purse too. Then I stand at the door to let mom and dad know that I am ready to go with my purse on my arm.
Friday mom picked me up early from school and we celebrated the end of the school year...well for her. I still have to go one more day. More on that later. Daddy came home early with pizza. Yum!
Saturday, I let my parents sleep in. When my parents came up to check on me, I was reading my books in bed. I still love my bed. Only one night I tried to play "the get out of bed" game. Otherwise, I have done a great job in my new bed! It has been over a week in my new bed. I even take naps in it as well. Sometimes I fall asleep next to it on the floor, where mom and dad made it soft in case I fall out of bed. Then mom and dad move me to my bed. Weird, but it is comfortable.
Saturday afternoon, I played with some older and younger girls. We went to my mom's friend Jessica's house. She has a three 1/2 year old and a 5 month old. Mom's other friend Julie came too with her soon to be 5 year old. Us girls had a good time playing.
On Monday, we went to Aunt Tara's for Memorial day and Alyssa's 15th birthday. She has a pool now. It rained most of the time; however, there were some times when it would be ok to lay around the pool.

I got to stay up late that night. We picked up Mexican food and a new movie, Happy Feet. I love dipping my tortilla in queso. Yum! Happy Feet was great! It has a lot of songs and dancing. I danced right along. I have never stayed up that late before with permission. I took my bath at 10:00 and was out by 10:20. Normally I start the bath routine at as early as 7:30, so Monday was a little different. I had a ball!
Summer is here, but I have one more day of school. I went today while mom took Gizmo for a check up. I love animals and would have loved to go, but last time I was at the vet I got pneumonia. Remember? So my parents wanted to play it safe and not let me go. Gizmo is doing great by the way. Mom worked in the yard, while I learned at school. She did take me an hour later and picked me up an hour earlier. She had to take me to the doctor too this afternoon. I am still doing good too, which means I had to get 2 shots. Ouch!
My last day of school is tomorrow while mom goes to her physical. I will get dropped off occasionally this summer, but tomorrow is the official last day. Yea, more time with mommy!
