My Summer

Sorry, I haven't posted in a while. Mom has been feeling horrible and we couldn't get our pictures to download. Now mom is out of her first trimester and starting to feel better; and the pictures finally downloaded to the computer.

I have enjoyed being home with mom. I am more of a mommas girl than ever before. Most of the summer, we have just relaxed at home. Mom has not wanted to go out in this heat much, so we have been home bodies a lot.

How I would entertain myself...

Mom got the hint, and started to paint my toenails at least.

Gizmo and I are like real brothers and sisters, we love and fight like them.

Being the teacher that mom is, she had me working on some preschool computer programs. I can use the mouse really well now. I can click and drag and everything. She also got me a pre-school book so I could work on my letters.

Once she took me to CiCi's. I had fun playing the games.

We did very little shopping, but here we are at Michael's looking for crafts for me to do.

One week, Grandaddy and Grandma stayed at my Aunt Tara's place to house sit. I got a lot of pool time in then.



Ahhh, relaxation!


For 5 weeks, 2 days a week I went to my new school at mommy's school. I had a hard emotional first day, but in the end I love my new school. Here I am at my first day with the sun in my eyes.

I have also been taking swim lessons for the last 3 months. I can't save myself yet, but I am doing great in the pool. I can hold my breath so well. I love swimming.

I still do my Gymnastics once a week.

Mom coached a summer volleyball league. She had practice once a week and games once a week. I would sometimes go to her games and help her coach. We wore our matching coaching shirts. I enjoyed playing volleyball with the girls too.

This week she dropped me off at daddy's work instead of me going to the games. I stayed with daddy for 2 hours at work and had a ball. I colored on his walls (dry erase walls). Dad was so amazed with what I could draw. So daddy had to take a picture or nobody would believe him. Here are my pictures. They have no idea where I learned to draw my smiley faces.

I went with mom last week to check on the baby. We heard the baby's heartbeat. Things are going good, just dad and I have to hear mom complain a lot.

I have one week left with mom and then she has to go to work. I don't have to go for another month though. I will get some time with my Cousin Alyssa and Granddaddy.
