Big Girl Cup

For 4 months now I have been able to drink from a straw (as long as someone else held the cup.) I only did it at restaurants and it was a treat. At home and school I would use a sippie cup, less of a mess.

Two weeks ago we were at Jason's Deli and I drank from my kid cup with a straw (and lid) all by myself. I drank it like a grown up. I didn't make a mess either.

Since I can do it at a restaurant mom let me try it at home too. Here is my new big girl cup that works like a sippie cup but has a straw. And check out my new hair cut!

My hair is really starting to get full and thick. It has a little curl near the bottom now near my ears! : ) They cut the bangs and the back to even it out.
Mom says I am doing pretty good drinking from a straw already. Rumor has it, mom couldn't drink from a straw till 3 or maybe even 4 years old.

I forgot to add pictures of my artwork I did over the weekend. These pictures are before the haircut. I did a Q-tip painting like I did at school (See previous blog.) Daddy's 80's sheets finally found a use as a table cover.

I enjoyed it! Here is my final product. And what a mess mom and I were afterwards. It took a long time to get us clean, but it was worth it!
