Dress Up in many ways
It isn't even Halloween yet, and Mary has dressed up a lot. First, Mary's Uncle David and Aunt Hayley had a Halloween Party. Mary went as Rupunzel from Tangled and Sarah went as Minnie Mouse. Then yesterday Mary's school had 50's day. More details and pictures of Mary dancing on 50's day below.

Mary dressed up for 50's Day.
In the morning, the Kindergarten had a Sock Hop. They danced and had Root Beer Floats. 
After lots of pictures, they turned on the music and Mary danced like crazy. All the other girls danced with girls, or boys with boys....not Mary she not only danced with one boy but had 2 boys at one point. He would spin her and all. She had so much fun and I had so much fun watching her grow up before my eyes. They were doing such a good job that they entered Mary and her "boyfriend" in the dance off at the big kid assembly in front of over 1000 people.
Here she is with 2 boys now...they took turns spinning her. 
After dancing, they had their Rootbeer Floats...which you know Mary she can't stand carbonated drinks so she just had icecream.
They had old timey cars to take great photos in front of....here is her class. They also had hula hoop contests as well. 
At the end of the day, they had the dance off assembly at the big school. They had one couple from each homeroom through 8th grade represent the class in the dance off. Mary and the other boy represented Kindergarten. They had to dance infront of the whole school and tons of parents. I didn't think that Mary and the boy would do it. I thought they would chicken out....nope, she and the boy danced their tails off. They didn't win, but they were of the last 5 couples standing. She danced for 3 songs! She told me later, " Mommy, my legs and feet hurt, but I didn't give up, I wanted to win!" So cute to have such drive like that, I hope it transpires into sports later, volleyball maybe. : ) Here she is dancing her tail off infront of everybody! Getting ready to dance....

My baby is growing up on me...
