Labor Day Weekend

I stayed with my grandparents this weekend while my parents went to a wedding in Cape Cod, MA. The wedding was a friend of my daddy's in college, Chris. I had a great time with my Grandparents. We went to the mall, got new shoes, got a haircut, went to gymnastics, went swimming at my aunt's, and so much more.

I have learned to jump with both feet forward off of things. I have been working so hard on it, and I have it!

Mom and dad were worried that the Hurricane would hit us while they were gone or on their way back, but everything was okay. Here is the motel they stayed at...yes, a motel on the water. There are no hotels in all of Cape Cod, not the ones we are used to here. Everything is very old, and simple. That is how it keeps its charm. They seemed to like it a lot, very relaxing place. Their room overlooked the water.
The view in the morning...They said that when they flew in, it felt like they went back in time to the beginning of spring in Houston. The sun was crisp, but not hot and there were freshly planted flowers everywhere you looked.
Mommy had her first big lobster. The wedding and reception was here, with a garden wedding. Daddy got to see a few old friends from Texas A &M too.
On their way back to the airport in Boston, they stopped over at Plymouth Rock. Right behind mom's shoulder is the replica of the original Mayflower, the MayFlower II.
Yes, that is the Plymouth Rock - the actual real rock, not a replica (so they say) behind tons of protected glass and scafolding. It is about the size of a big pig.
After Plymouth, mom and dad stopped over in Boston for a beer at Cheers!
Afterwards, they walked around the famous parks there and the begininng of the Freedom Trail. I would have loved the swan boats they had there.
State House...
The runway is right next to the water. Amazing.
from the plane...

Next time, I want to go with them. They said I would next time...when ever that is.
