First time for...
There were a lot of Firsts this weekend. My parent's are shocked as to how quickly I am growing up.
On Friday, I wore 12 month pj's. I need them for the length, more than the width. My poor feet don't fit in the 9 month pairs. The 12 months were very comfy. Mom has to reorganize my closet of clothes that I have outgrown. It seems like she just did it. That was just the beginning of showing how quickly I am growing up.
I wore my first pair of walking shoes today. They are white with pink and purple flowers. They are so cute and they taste good too. Mom doesn't like it when I chew my shoes.
I am finally big enough to ride in the carseat facing forwards. I was so excited! What a big difference to see where I am going and to see my mom and dad.
I'm done with baby food! I like to feed myself breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner now. Mom and dad bought my first toddler bib and plate, instead of eating off the highchair. I still sit in the highchair, but I eat off a big girl plate. They loaded up my plate for dinner with chicken, garlic (hmm) potatoes, and green beans. I ate it all!
I was still hungry so I got dessert, Peach Cobbler! Baby food this time, but who cares it's dessert. It was so good, mom and dad couldn't shove it in fast enough, so I stole the spoon and started to feed myself successfully for the first time with the spoon.
My parent's were shocked! I had tried feeding myself with the spoon before, but usually I would poke myself in the eye or flick the food all over my mom and her blinds.
I also pull up everywhere! I can walk from one end of the coffee table to the other end holding on to the table.
I had a ball with tupperware tonight while mommy cooked. Not a first like all the other things, but I had to share the cute picture of me having a ball with the tupperware. Shoes, clothes, carseat, feeding myself, walking along table...see I told you that I had a lot of firsts this weekend and it's only Saturday!

I was looking forward to the weekend update! I know I slack from time to time, but that doesn't mean you can. :)
