Waterpark Surprise

After Polar Express Train ride, we surprised them with a one night stay at Great Wolf Lodge in north Dallas.  It has an indoor waterpark.  It looks like a ski lodge inside the lobby with Christmas snow and hotel characters.

 Waterpark is behind the windows indoors.  The lobby was decorated like a ski resort with snow everywhere and pretty twinklie lights.

 Wave pool and kiddie pool on right...the big rides are in the back. Mary did all the big rides!

 At night in the morning they had story time with characters, songs, and falling snow.

 We had more pictures of characters with a water camera at the park and pictures of the rides, but it didn't turn out!

 They got to wear pjs to the story time too...what a fun pj weekend!

First Christmas Surprise :Polar Express

 First here are a couple pictures from Mary's Christmas Program.  Beautiful picture of Sarah above.   Mary is front row about 8 from the left with pretty curly hair.

 Friday we got out of school at noon and gave them their first gift. A trip on the Polar Express Train in Palestine, TX.  It takes you to the North Pole like the movie.  We stayed in a hotel nearby as well. they got new jammies to wear on the train as well.

 We had cookies and hot chocolate.  They played music from the movie the whole time...Hot, hot, hot, hot chocolate...Everyone was singing and dancing and having a great time!

 The conductor punched their ticket too.

 We arrived at the North Pole... Santa got on the train.

 The pulled Sarah up a couple times to dance in the aisle. 

 We sang a lot of Christmas carols on the train as well.  Everyone was so into it!

 They are doing the movements to 12 days of Christmas!

So much fun...Sarah kept singing off the train.  She kept singing the 12 days of Christmas, always starting with the 6th day over and over...I like her version..."5 golden leaves,....and a Partiridge in a BEAR tree"  It had people in the parking lot giggling.  It was a great family experience and very well done!  We had another surprise for the girls for one more night.  More on that later after I get my pictures developed from a water camera.  We went to a hotel that has waterpark inside the hotel.
