Volleyball

Last week, mom was busy preparing her team for the Lutheran State Volleyball Championship. She had a scrimmage one night that I went to during the week. The team made a t-shirt for me that matches the team's. Everyone on the team has their name on the back. I wore my shirt to the game too. I love watching volleyball, the problem is I want to play with them.

The mascot is an Eagle, so mine says Li'l Eagle.

I didn't get to go the State tournament out of town with mom this weekend, because daddy was busy with work, I had gymnastics, and to be honest I wouldn't have lasted being in a gym for 48 hours. Maybe next year.
Mom's team (B team) didn't make it pass the 3rd round. She lost to an A team, but put up a good fight. But the A team from mom's school made it all the way, but lost in the finals. They still took 2nd out of the entire state (over 40 teams). Good Job A team!
Mommy had a great time playing in a coaches game they had Friday night. She misses playing, she said it felt good to get out there again. However, she keeps complaining how sore she is and has a lot of bruises. The parents of her team took lots of pictures, maybe I will get the pictures from them and post them in another blog.
As much as mommy is glad to start having more time with me now that the season is over, I think another part of her is sad too that the season is over. She looks forward to doing it again next year, but is also looking forward to having more time with me over the rest of this school year. It has been a long (but fun) 3 months. I look forward to the time I will start to have with her again.

Mommy and Mary

This last week, daddy went on a business trip to San Diego. Mommy and I had a great time together. Mom didn't have any volleyball this week, so she was able to pick me up really early. We had a good time together, making homemade pizzas, playing outside, going to the park, going out to eat just the two of us at Chilli's. We missed daddy a lot, but we got A LOT of mommy daughter time! Mommy has one last week of volleyball left to go. Then we can spend time like this together a lot more often! We look forward to it!

1,2,3...

I have been able to count to 20 for a while now. I would count randomly and would sometimes miss numbers, but I didn't really correlate numbers with how many objects. Now I can answer, when someone asks me "How many?"

ABC's

On a computer game that I have, I can sing the ABC's with the bear on it. I haven't been able to sing by myself yet. Out of nowhere tonight, I surprised my parents with singing the ABC's all by myself. Mom and dad didn't even ask me to, I just started singing. See the video below. After my parents give me a hug you can hear me sing it better the next time. Turn up the volume though. Sorry so dark, but just listen to me sing.
