Update from Yesterday

Yesterday was a crazy bad day. Read previous blog first!

Mom and dad visited my new class today and mom doesn't know why she was so upset to begin with. Mom loved the new class. The first time mom visited she thought she saw kids that were 5 feet tall, but I think she was imagining things and hard to except that her baby is growing up. I will be skipping the older toddlers class and moving to 3's and young 4's. I will be the youngest in the class, but I like playing with kids that are older than me. I learn a lot from them. I tried out the new class today for a couple hours and I loved it!

Gizmo has been a lot better today. He hasn't thrown up and tonight he played with toys like his old self. Thank you God for a better day!

The Bad Week Continues...

Did you really read it??

So as you know mom and I have been sick on our last week of summer with sinus infections and bronchitis. Mom has been a little anxious about her new job, summer ending, and about the possibility of me skipping a grade in school. Mom and Dad have a big decision that is really waying on my mom's mind whether I should be the oldest or the youngest in class. They make the decision tomorrow morning.

So on top of it all....today, Dad's cell phone broke, my mom's tooth broke that was her baby tooth so it will probably have to be yanked out tomorrow, then Gizmo got sick to where he was throwing up blood everywhere, the same time I decided to not potty where I am suppose to. Gizmo was hospitalized today and I was so upset to see him go. What if that is the last time I will see him? Then to top it off today, Dad hit mom's car. Mom in her fragile state thinking it is Gizmo's last day alive, left the car door open in the garage and dad didn't see it because he is upset to so as he backed into the garage he hit mom's car. All of this happened within a few hours of each other. What a day!

Good news, we got Gizmo back from the hospital late tonight. We have to keep a very close eye on him. It is his usual messed up insides (liver and pancretitus sp??), plus this time he has ulcers as well. I hope he gets better at home, or we will have to take him back to the vet for the last time to put him to sleep.

Even though it has been a rough week, it still could be a lot worse so I am glad this is all we have to worry about...

Big Adjustment!

It hasn't been a great week yet. It is sad that this is the last week of Summer. Also, Mom and I are both sick with congestion in the chest and head. Not a fun way to spend the last week.

We also found out this week that when I go back to school full time that I will be "skipping a grade." I will skip right over the older toddler class and go to a primary pre-school class. I will be with 3's and 4's. Mom is very scared and upset about it, but at the same time is happy that my school thinks that I am smart and mature enough to do such a thing. I do love being with older kids. Also mom is scared of her new job's hours away from home even though it is a blessing. Just change is hard! We will all eventually adjust to our new schedule and get over this sickness. I think mom is also upset that her "baby" is growing up so fast!

A Whole Bunch of Different Stuff

We have only 2 weeks left of Summer till mom and I go back to school full time. We are still trying to make the most of it. This blog has some recent fun stuff we have done, plus some things from the very beginning of Summer. Mom had a bunch of pictures on her cell phone that we just now downloaded to the computer. So this blog is a mixture of different things.

First my friend and cousin Katy came over again to play. We played in my backyard pool and then mom took us for Italian ice cream. We had a great time!

Other times we have gone for ice cream this summer. This was after the last day of school before summer. Mom and I were so happy!

Here is my new Gymnastics outfit that I wore today. Since I have enjoyed Gymnastics so much, mom has me signed up for the fall too but on Saturdays.

Here I am in my old pink and black outfit...I am in the middle of the picture on a mat upside down getting help with my forward roll from my teacher in blue. Sorry the pictures are bad, we can't use a flash in the gym and the only one that looks half way decent is my mom's phone camera. Not great, but better than nothing.

I am on the left bars with my teacher again in blue. I love the bars, I could swing there all day. Here I am swinging from the rings that I love too.
I love how during the summer, I see Gizmo more often!

The past few days mom and I started a game, where we call each other a silly goose in a high pitch voice. We got dad in on it the other day. Mom kept trying to get me on video doing it, but I kept posing for the camera instead, "Cheese!"

Museum

My parents took me to the Houston Museum Saturday. I love a Sesame Street episode where Elmo goes to the museum to see dinosaurs. When we were at the museum, I called them "Elmo Dinosaurs." We also went to the Butterfly Exhibit.

Buddies

My cousin Katy stayed the night with me the other night. She painted a poster for me that I will always treasure that says, "Katy and Mary are buddies." We had a lot of fun playing together! We also wore our matching t-shirts out to dinner that night.
