Memorial Day

I had a great Memorial Day at a big family party at my Aunt Tara's pool. All of my mom's side of the family came out, even my mom's Aunt Kay and Uncle James from Florida. It was great to see everyone that I normally only see once a year around Christmas. We had a great time! I am on top of the slide in my dad's arms.

I also had a ball because I'm swimming with arm floaties! I played in the pool for hours. The pool also has a slide that I went down 100 times. It was a blast!

I'm Sick

I am sick with a bad, bad cough and high fever. My fever went up to 103.5+, so high I was halluciating. Mom freaked out but luckily it was on the way to the doctor's office. I felt horrible and I cried for hours at the doctor's office. I screamed "Gizzimo, Gizzimo, I want Gizzimo" -meaning I want to go home. The doctor said it could be strep (however, they didn't test me for it), bronchitis, and a little sinusitis. They gave me lots more medicine and we hope it doesn't turn into pneumonia again.

Most of the time I just lay around on the couch with my favorite teddy bear, favorite blanket, and favorite pillow made by Granddaddy. Mom set up my dvd player right next to the couch so I would get a lot of rest in.

When mommy got my prescription filled, she bought my first Barbie (don't worry she took off the small parts since I am not yet 3 years old). It isn't any barbie, it is "No Whyt" meaning Snow White. She is my favorite princess!

I hope that I get better soon and that I don't have another fever spike like that again!

The Beach

For part of mom's Mother's Day gift, she wanted to get away by heading out to Galveston for the day. So we did...

I looked for seashells along the beach.

I loved playing in the sand!
Mommy packed a good picnic lunch for us too.

I loved the ocean! I loved to go as far as I could and let the waves crash up against me. Mom was shocked as to how far I would go in the water. I wanted to be in the water the whole time. Mom and dad had to keep switching places from laying out to being in the water with me. I loved the waves!
The beach was a lot of fun. The gift for her turned out to be a gift for me too!
