Birthday Weekend!

I had a great 2nd Birthday! Friday, I woke up with my parents singing to me with balloons in hand. When I went downstairs, I had my own kitchen. It is a lot of fun and I love it.

At school, everyone knew it was my birthday. Mom brought cupcakes and hats to school. I enjoyed it when everyone sang to me!

After school, we picked up my cousin Katy. I love playing with her, we had a lot of fun! We went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner. They sang to me for dessert. I loved the disco ball they had there. Katy stayed the night and we had a ball playing together. The next morning we had fun watching cartoons. We will have to do it more often!

Saturday mom and dad were busy getting the house ready for the big party. We took a break to go to Meyer Park, play at the playground and for them to get some exercise. We stopped afterwards for Subway and then headed to get my cake.

After my nap, I woke up with the house all decorated in Barney! Even Gizmo was dressed up in a Barney shirt.

I was a little shy at first, but I warmed up and had a great time. We had good food and great cake!

I got a lot of great gifts! Thanks everybody for making the time to come out and help me celebrate my birthday!

Sunday, I went to my first Sunday School. They start at 2 years old. I wore my new pretty dress!
I was very upset when mom and dad left me so mom stayed to do Sunday School with me. Mom loved doing it with me. We learned that we say "Hi" in church by saying "Peace be with you" like Jesus did, so we made a sign that says it. After 30 minutes, the class went outside to play on the playground, while mom and I joined Daddy for the rest of church and communion.

Sunday it was so beautiful, we enjoyed playing outside! I got to wear some of my new clothes too.

Monday, mommy had off from work so we played with cousin Alyssa at the mall. She helped her get some cool clothes. Afterwards we played outside, it was another beautiful day! Mommy and I enjoyed our day together today. We can't wait for Spring Break and summer!

Finally

After having several weekends taken up with someone sick in our house, finally Sunday afternoon everyone was much better. We were so tired of being cooped up in the house, we had to get out and have some fun. We headed to the Downtown Aquarium. I was last there on my birthday last year, so just a week shy of a year ago.

Afterwards, I finally could get a haircut (bangs only) and we stopped from some frozen yogurt. Yummy!
Monday, to my surpise Daddy had off from work. Poor mommy had to go to work, but Daddy and I had a lot of fun. He took me to Meyer Park to play on the playground, see birds, and ducks. Afterwards we had lunch at this great sandwich and bakery shop in town. I burned a lot of energy and had a big lunch and ofcourse daddy bought me a cookie too. We had a lot of fun together.

Daddy's flu, that he caught from me, finally went away this week. He was able to go back to work on Thursday.

I was at school all week and had a great time. We did a lot of fun Valentine activities and songs. It was so much fun being back at school and healthy too!

Friday night, I woke up crying a lot during the night. Saturday I woke up with congestion in the head, sinus, and chest. Here we go again, I am sick! We didn't know if it is just allergies or what.

I woke up crying Saturday after only a 30 minute nap. I started to cough like a seal or dog. I have Croupe. Yup, a sickness I haven't checked off yet. I have had only fever in the 99s most of the time, but today it went up to 100. The doc gave me some medicine for it. I hope that I get over this soon with no more sicknesses to follow!

Okay, I haven't had spell check work in a while. Any other bloggers having the same problem?

Back to School

It was so nice to be back in school today and see all my friends and teachers. Dad on the other hand didn't go into work today. Daddy has the flu!

Giving it a try!

I am getting better day by day. I haven't had fever in a while and I run and play like crazy. On the other hand, I still have a runny nose and chest congestion that causes me to wheeze. Since the doctors say that I am not contagious anymore we are going to give school a try tomorrow. I won't be able to have outside play though. Oh, well at least I get to see my teachers and friends.
