Happy Halloween 2007!

I had a great Halloween! First, I got to wear a crazy hat to school today. We paraded through out the school to the other classrooms showing off our crazy hats and singing songs. I have a bad bug bite on my cheek by the way.
I got all sorts of goodies at school and I came home with a lot more projects that I have done lately at school. One is a mask...

A cat puppet...

And more...

etc...

After eating dinner tonight I got dressed up in my costume. I was Minnie Mouse tonight.

Smiling at Barney till it is time to go out...
Cool shadow effect in this picture of my profile... Time to go...
We went to my Aunt Tara's house and saw my cousins' costumes too.

Afterwards, we went trick or treating at a few houses in our neighborhood. I had a ball! Mom and dad thought I wouldn't really know what was going on, but I acted like a pro. I ran to all the houses, holding my bucket, smiling, laughing, saying "hi" to people and have a good old time. I loved this house's decorations! Afterwards, we changed clothes and ate lots of candy! Yum! This was a great day!!!! Happy Halloween everybody!

Gizzie

Every mom wants their baby to say momma first, what do I say first...Gizzie. Sure mom thought at times I was saying "momma" or "dadda", but my first real word a long time ago was Gizzie. Then months ago, I started to put words together...this time " Hi, Gizzie!" not "hi, momma". Sure I say momma or dadda now, but not to the extent that I say Gizzie. I think mom just wants to be first. In the morning I don't call out for momma or dadda, I yell for Gizzie. I know about 30 words, but I am still just starting to put words together.
Tonight as mom took me up to bed I said, "Night, Night Gizzie!" Mom tried and tried to get me to say, "night, night momma" but I would only say "night, night Gizzie". If I say I love Gizzie before I love momma I will be in some trouble.

Head of Class

At my school they keep the young toddlers in a different room than the other older toddlers. Sometimes we have class together and sometimes we are separated by a glass wall. The main teacher that my mom loves is with the older toddlers not in the back with me. But the main teacher would do all the curriculum for both classes. They mainly have the back room so that they can train the toddlers the procedures of a Montessori environment. They also use the back room for the kids that scream their head off when they are dropped off. It keeps from distracting the other kids. I have been in the back room since I started. We were told I wouldn't move up till I was about 2 years old.

The past two weeks when mom dropped me off, I didn't cry, wine, or cling. I walk right off not looking back at mom. Mom kisses the back of my head as I run off to play with my friends. I carry my lunch kit in all by myself too. I love my school!

Yesterday, when mom picked me up she found out that I have graduated to the other side of the glass wall. I am with the two year old's now, even though I am only 20 months. Mom and dad were so proud and happy to find out. It was hard to be without my best friend, Noah, that I was babies with at my old school, but I will make new ones. When mom picked me up today, I was playing dress up with the other big girls. I had 2 bead necklaces on and carrying a baby.

My teacher wrote in my journal that I am a quiet girl that needs to talk more and that she will work with me on using my words. I am just a shy girl, but there are some new words that I can definitely learn. One day my teachers and parents will miss the day I was quiet. I can't wait for school tomorrow!

Cool Front

Since a cool front came in, after school mom wanted to bundle me up. She put me in my pj's from last winter and they did not fit at all. I wear 2T or 24 months in everything except for my pants I wear 18 months. So she thought my 18 month pj's would fit. Nope, I was high stepping because it was too tight in the stride.

Yea...Barney is on! Mommy and I had to bundle up and run up to Kohl's to get some winter pj's. Mom got out of work early today for allergies that turned into a sinus infection, so we had the time.
Bath time!Do you like my new Tinkerbell pj's and pink slippers?
I somehow pulled 1/2 my toenail off my big toe. It hurts, but mommy put a Hello Kitty band aid on it to make it feel better. Mommy and daddy's kisses helped too.

Maid

Thanks to my allergies, daddy agreed to let mommy have a maid come every two weeks to help clean our house. We had to lock up poor Gizzie in his old cage that he had when he was just a puppy so that he wouldn't bother them. I don't see why Gizzie didn't like it. I think his cage is fun! I like to open and close the door and go in and out of it. Don't worry it was clean. I think that I will add a fun tent to my Christmas wish list.

I guess Gizmo just wants his freedom to sun bathe whereever he wants to.

I told mom that I can help clean the house too. The swifter is my new toy.

Outfits and More

Sunday, I wore my new Texas A & M cheerleader outfit with matching bow to church. Mom says that the pictures don't show just how cute I really looked. We were running late for church, so we didn't have time to take more pictures. We will try more next time.

Tuesday, was picture day at school. I wore another cute outfit! Here are some pictures that we took before I left for school. I hope the pictures that I took at school turned out. We won't know for a couple of weeks.

Tonight, mommy and I did homework? Last week when I was out mommy saw the art project that I missed. We had the supplies at home, so I did the art project after dinner with mommy. I didn't really have to do it, school isn't that hard yet. Mommy just thought I would enjoy it and I did. We learned about triangles, trapezoids, circles, the color orange, the color green, and pumpkins ofcourse.Afterwards, I helped cook pumpkin sugar cookies. I took them out of the package and placed them on the cookie sheet...a hundred times till the oven pre-heated. Mom took care of the rest of course. They were yummy!

Slumber Party and Pumpkin Patch

Friday my Grandad and Grandma picked me up at school while my mom and dad went out of town to College Station for the night. Not only did Grandma and Grandaddy stay the night at my house, but so did my cousin Katy. It was my first slumber party and I had a lot of fun!

Saturday afternoon when my parents came home, they took me to the Pumpkin Patch in town. There were pumpkins everywhere!

This place is also a Christmas Tree Farm...in case you were confused in the above picture.

Only in Texas, would we be at a Pumpkin Patch in the fall and share a snow cone. It was good though.
I liked running around the place. We got to ride a train that went through their Christmas tree farm. We chose the train over a hay ride for allergy reasons. It was fun at first, but then it kicked up dust everywhere. Nice face mom...
I know not good for our allergies, but we had no idea it would kick up that much trail dust. Dad gave me his sunglasses to keep it from going in my eyes.
